Talk Rock's sound borrows from bands like The Jesus Lizard, Young Widows, and Mogwai and infuses these influences with angst-ridden riffs not uncommon among Midwestern hardcore music and noisy blues burgeoning in psychedelic rock. All of these influences blend into an auditory assault that is at once tumultuous and focused, frantic and controlled, and loud as hell.
